2002 Hunter/Mudgee Shiraz

Plum red in colour, the wine exhibits a complex array of aromas with up front plum, herbs and choc-mint characters, and with underlying earth and briar notes. The palate is full and rich, with jammy blackberry fruit and white pepper flavours and a long, yet soft, tannin and oak finish.
Although approachable while young, this wine will develop in the mid-term and will complement hearty beef dishes or could be enjoyed on its own with cheese. |

2002 Hunter Valley Merlot

| Cherry red in colour, this wine exhibits rich berry aromas, mint, earth and Hunter Valley complexity with underlying toasty oak aromas. The palate is full and round, with developed fruit and complex flavours and possesses a drying tannin finish. Excellent with lamb dishes, this wine will also complement strong meat broths and casseroles. With careful cellaring this wine will mature well in the mid-term. |

2002 Mudgee Cabernet Sauvignon |

Plum red in colour, this wine exhibits
red berry and red currant aromas with integrated harmonious vanillin
French oak notes. The palate is refined and elegant, with fresh berry
flavours, restrained oak, drying soft tannins and a persistent finish.
This wine will mature well in the mid-term and will complement lamb and
beef dishes as well as cheese.

2002 Reserve Chardonnay |

Green
yellow in colour, the wine exhibits integrated buttery fruit, yeast lees
aromas and a definitive smoky bacon-like and toasty French oak influence.
The palate is full flavoured with well-balanced fruit and vanillin oak and
creamy lees characters. The crisp acid finish ensures that the palate is
left refreshed. This wine will mature well in the mid-term and would be
great with chicken or smoked salmon.

2002 Hunter Valley Chardonnay |

The
wine is yellow-straw in colour with lifted bouquet of peach and melon like
aromas along with coconut and vanillin notes from the barrel fermentation.
The palate is rich and full, exhibiting peach and melon fruit and soft
vanillin oak characters before a clean acid finish. This wine will drink
well over the next two years but can be enjoyed while young.

The wine is pale green-straw
in colour, with herbal and citrus notes with a faint lanolin-like
character from skin contact. The palate is elegant and refined with
citrus-like fruit and grassy characters evident which leads to long and
crisp acid finish. This wine will mature well in the mid-term with proper
cellaring.
